RedotPay Multi-Currency Wallet Pakistan: the Pakistan answer

RedotPay uses Multi-Currency Wallet and Currency Account wording for access to local-currency balances supplied through financial-institution partners. The official product page says RedotPay is a fintech service provider, not a bank, and that appropriately licensed financial institutions provide the Multi-Currency Wallet. This distinction matters for Pakistani users comparing it with a local bank account, EMI wallet or PKR balance.

The current Help Center is narrower than broad "global account" search wording. Its published region article lists a EUR Currency Account for European operations and a GBP Currency Account for UK operations. Its currency article lists EUR and GBP, while saying USD and additional currencies are in preparation. Those pages do not confirm a Pakistan Currency Account or a PKR account.

A Pakistan user should therefore treat this page as an eligibility and terminology guide, not an application promise. If Multi-Currency Wallet or Currency Account appears in the live app, read the provider, region, supported currency, KYC, asset requirement, questionnaire, deposit, withdrawal and fee screens before proceeding. If it does not appear, this guide does not provide a workaround.

Official facts to keep
  • RedotPay states it is not a bank and facilitates Currency Account services provided by licensed financial institutions.
  • The published region page currently lists EUR for European operations and GBP for UK operations.
  • The published requirements include identity verification, at least 100 USD in total assets and a risk questionnaire.
  • The Help Center says each currency account is applied for separately and managed independently.
Claims Pakistan users should reject
  • Do not claim Pakistan residents are currently eligible unless the live app shows the application route.
  • Do not call this a PKR account, Pakistani IBAN, local bank account or SBP-regulated RedotPay account.
  • Do not promise USD Currency Account availability based on wording that it is in preparation.
  • Do not treat the 100 USD requirement as a fee or guaranteed approval; read the current screen and provider terms.

What the Currency Account is and is not

The official explanation describes a digital account that can receive, hold and transfer funds electronically without a physical branch. That functional description does not make RedotPay itself a bank. It also does not make the account a Pakistani domestic account. The institution named in the application, the currency, account details and legal terms are the documents that control the relationship.

Do not merge crypto balance, USDs, Currency Account and PKR P2P into one balance description. A crypto balance uses supported digital assets. Currency Account pages discuss EUR or GBP funding and account details. PKR P2P is an advertiser marketplace context. A Pakistani bank or wallet receipt remains separate evidence. The app should show which balance is being used for each action.

  • Read the named provider and account terms.
  • Confirm whether the balance is crypto, USDs, EUR or GBP.
  • Keep PKR P2P and local bank receipts separate.
  • Do not advertise a Pakistan bank account that the app does not show.

Eligibility, KYC and the 100 USD requirement

RedotPay's requirements page says applicants first complete identity verification with a valid government-issued ID and facial recognition where requested. It also describes a total-asset requirement of at least 100 USD and a risk assessment covering funding source, intended use and occupation. Additional proof of income or bank statements may be requested. These are application conditions, not an approval guarantee.

The separate 100 USD article calls it a minimum deposit required to open a Currency Account and says that, after opening, the amount can be withdrawn, transferred, spent or swapped regardless of whether EUR or GBP is activated. Because wording and provider screens can change, a Pakistan user should verify whether the app presents the amount as available balance, opening requirement, hold, fee or another condition before moving funds.

  • Complete official KYC only in the app or official provider route.
  • Read the risk questionnaire carefully.
  • Keep source-of-funds records ready without sending them to agents.
  • Stop if Pakistan or the desired currency is not offered.

Pakistan eligibility: the conservative answer

The public region page checked on 10 July 2026 does not list Pakistan. It says EUR Currency Account for European operations and GBP Currency Account for UK operations. That is not enough evidence to say a user with Pakistan residency, CNIC, Pakistan address or Pakistan phone number can open either account. Search demand does not create eligibility.

If a verified Pakistan account displays a Currency Account application, capture the exact region, provider, currency and required documents before continuing. If the screen is absent, use the normal RedotPay crypto, card or P2P pages only for features actually shown to the account. Do not use a VPN, borrowed address, overseas document or paid agent to force an application.

  • Pakistan not listed is not the same as permanently unavailable.
  • Another user's access does not prove your residency route.
  • CNIC acceptance for normal KYC does not prove Currency Account eligibility.
  • Use official support for a direct eligibility question.

Fees, deposits, withdrawals and records

Currency Account cost is broader than the opening requirement. Check deposit method, deposit fee, bank charge, FX rate, withdrawal rule, refund handling and any intermediary fee displayed for the exact currency. A GBP or EUR transfer can have provider or bank-side details that do not exist in a RedotPay crypto deposit or PKR P2P order.

Keep the provider name, account currency, account details, source bank, amount, fee, reference, date and status together. For tax or business use, keep invoices and bank records separately and obtain professional Pakistan advice where needed. This guide does not claim SBP, PVARA or FBR approval, exemption or treatment for a Currency Account.

  • Use only an account in the correct name.
  • Check beneficiary and reference before bank funding.
  • Do not assume EUR and GBP share one account.
  • Save provider notices and official support tickets.
